we were working on
a free product sharing service powered by Vestia to improve the livability of neighborhoods with social-economic problems. The aim of the service is to create solidarity between the inhabitants of a neighborhood, by giving them a shared responsibility, while also giving them access to products that usually are too expensive for them to own. By using different forms of persuasive design we intended to accomplish behavioral change on a large scale.
what I did
As part of my master thesis I did context and theoretical research to build the design framework. Afterwards I designed the concept for the service and made a prototype and implementation plan.
- Vestia adopted the service and planned on implementing it
- Social science experts evaluated the concept and 81% deemed the concept to be effective
