we were working on
an interactive training system that provides a comprehensive training for housekeepers, which can be configured to fit any hotel. It focused on teaching standard operation protocols, English and ergonomics using the Microsoft Kinect and tablet. As a startup Novility tried to disrupt the hospitality industry by using gamification principles to make educational training fun and effective.
what I did
I was involved in almost every part of the product design ranging from information architecture to art direction. I designed templates for almost all interactive parts of the platform and also created templates and guidelines for all the 3D animated sections. I was solely responsible for the content management and sound design. I also mentored and led a team of 2 junior designers and managed the product in absence of the Product Manager.
- Mentored and led a team of 2 interaction designers
- Created all user/system flow diagrams, templates, workflow documents and status sheets for the design related processes
- Initiated and designed an internal content management tool used by 4 different teams to raise work efficiency by 35%
